Galvanic treatment
Analgesic electrotherapy, where the electrodes are placed on the painful area (the anode is the positive pole and the negative pole is the cathode). The two electrodes may be of the same size (bipolar), or if one's size is greater than the other, then it is a so-called unipolar treatment (the smaller electrode, the higher the current density).
